Quality of Design Praised

Jack Brignall House is the first speculative office building in the heart of the Bridgehead development and is already attracting considerable interest, not only from proposed occupiers but also the wider business community.

The building is a very innovative design with clean open office space, low running costs and a raft of “green” initiatives ensuring the building remains energy efficient.

Nick Pearce of PPH Commercial, letting agent on Bridgehead, commented that “this is the most modern speculative office space available within Hull and East Riding and I have not been surprised at the strength of demand that we have had for these offices from both the local business community, but also several regional and national concerns. At present there is strong interest in both floors and I would expect the building to be fully let in the next few months.

When completing viewings on properties of this nature, you are normally asked one or two general questions on car parking and the ability to partition the space, but I have been pleasantly surprised at the interest that companies have shown in the design aspect of the building and its running costs which often are overlooked. Companies have been surprised at the efficiency of the building, the spacious floor to ceiling height which gives bright clean space, particularly in areas they are looking to leave as open plan, yet all at very competitive overall costs.

Efficient, well thought out buildings with low running costs are an agents dream as far as lettings are concerned.”
