Baytree Interiors, the Yorkshire-based homewares retailer, is to open its 13th store at Flemingate in Beverley.
Established in 2009, Baytree Interiors is an independent interiors and gift retailer. Known for their own brand of distinctive and stylish furniture, lighting and home accessories, Baytree also stocks a range of stylish giftware and wall art.
The addition of Baytree Interiors to Flemingate further reinforces the centre’s strong line-up of brands and cements its status as a key new shopping destination for the Yorkshire and Humber region. Flemingate already boasts some of the UK’s best known retailers, restaurants and cafés including Debenhams, H&M, Wilko, Costa and Patisserie Valerie.
Commenting on the arrival of Baytree Interiors, Flemingate Centre Manager Graham Tait said: “Top independents like Baytree complement the well-known high street names in our line-up to ensure Flemingate offers something different to anywhere else in the area.
“Following the success of other independent brands at Flemingate, such as BOLO and Guest and Phillips, we are confident that Baytree Interiors will excite our customers as well as attract new visitors from the throughout the area.”
Managing Director of Baytree Interiors, Nik Hill, added: “We are delighted to be opening our 13th store at Flemingate. The strength and variety of the brands at Flemingate means we will certainly be in good company, and are excited to be introducing our great range of products to the people of Beverley, as well as the visitors that flock here from across the region.”
Baytree Interiors is the most recent brand to join Flemingate’s line-up following the successful launch of the centre in November 2015. The brand is also the latest in a string of local and regional businesses to join Flemingate in the past six months, following stores by BOLO, the independent fashion retailer, and Guest & Philips, the independent jeweller, as well as Parkway Cinema.
The 16-acre Flemingate development – Beverley’s largest-ever regeneration scheme – is a £120m investment in the town by Hull-based Wykeland. It includes big-name brands such as Debenhams and H&M as well as local independent retailers. It is also home to the East Riding College campus, an 80-bed Premier Inn hotel and six-screen digital cinema, Parkway. Flemingate’s development of 130 homes is already completed.
