Hull property and investment company, the Wykeland Group, has expanded its head office team with the appointment of John Gouldthorpe as Estates Surveyor.
The 30-year-old from Scunthorpe joins the company after an 18-month spell with another Hull property firm.
John is one of several new property professionals to join Wykeland in the past two years. His role will be the management and letting of Wykeland’s retained property amounting to 2m sq. ft. and which is leased to more than 180 business tenants, ranging from small sole-traders to multi-nationals across the North of England and Scotland.
He said: “Wykeland is responsible for a great deal of development, some speculative, throughout the Humber region and my role is to help the day-to-day management of the company’s increasing portfolio, managing tenants, engaging with tenants, dealing with lease renewals and rent reviews”.
John gained a BSc with Honours in Urban Land Economics from Sheffield Hallam University and is married with two young sons.
Since it was established 45 years ago, Wykeland has develeoped more than 10.5m sq. ft. of commercial development throughout England and Scotland and currently has a 2.5m sq. ft. development programme including the Bridgehead Business Park at Hessle and the Flemingate regeneration project in Beverley.
